I have been asked this a few times, so I thought I would go ahead and post it here in case anyone else is wondering…
“What is Cassiopeia and why do you sometimes use that name?”
Cassiopeia is a constellation that is the shape of a “W” in the nite time sky.
“In Greek mythology it was considered to represent the vain queen Cassiopeia, who boasted about her unrivaled beauty.” (Thank you Wikipedia)
I don’t know about the “vain” part, but I can get with the unrivaled beauty part. (kidding, of course!)
Actually, my name is Cassie and my maiden name starts with the letter “W,” (like the constellation) so it seems to fit.
This is why I use the word and in fact named my business, Cassiopeia Marketing.
Is that a “stellar” reason or what? (come on…you have to admit that was funny!)
